Sharp EL-1801C Semi-Desktop 2-Color Printing Calculator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I use this for my home record keeping.I tend to be fast on data entry - 12,000 kpm- so this is slow on the print mode, but it keeps up with me...eventually.It took me awhile to get used to it clacking away while I was done - this was just the tape printing, I'd have my total in the digital part of the machine.I use it constantly - I have a huge Texas Instruments one at work that cost 5 times what this one cost and it's print speed is not much faster. The key positioning is awesome, I don't even need to look at it while I'm entering numbers.I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Used this calculator and 3 of it's predecessors for about 25 years.Easy to use, durable, quite a good buy.I would have thought that with what I paid for rush delivery charges, it would have arrived a litte quicker, but I purchased through an off shoot of Amazon.

12 Digit DeskTop Calculator, Ac Power (CNML1255) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this calc for $[...] including shipping from Amazon marketplace; that's 54% less than the comparable Sharp model also sold on Amazon. I was wanting the Sharp, but this one has a clock and calendar function that the Sharp doesn't, and it also has a "000" key, another thing the Sharp lacks. Keys have a satisfying click. Display is a bit brighter than I would like, and although the charachters are about 7/8 inch tall they're less than a half-inch wide. I would prefer it if they were wider. Still a great deal.

Casio FR-2650A PLUS Printing Calculator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When you're hesitant to go to the expense of a cash register, this is a great calculator for a small retail business - which is exactly why I purchased it.The keys are large, paper roll insertion is easy and the automatic tax calculation key (TAX+) for sales is helpful. The Casio website is also helpful for tech support.I purchased this item used without a manual and needed to know how to set the tax rate.(It was preset to 5% and I needed to change it to 6.5%.)Within a day they emailed me back with step-by-step instructions. If you are also struggling to figure this out and can't find the info on the web (as I couldn't) here are the steps as they provided to me:

1.Set calculator to "print."
2.Press CA.
3.Press SET key for about 3 seconds.
4.Enter tax rate.
5.Press TAX+.
6.Press SET.

By the way, the SET key is the percent key.

Hope this helps!

Casio DR-T120 Thermal Printing Calculator with 12-Digit Display Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a calculator that used thermal paper rolls, so that I would not have to continue replacing the ribbon as I did in my old calculator. This calculator fit the bill. The directions with it weren't the clearest in the world, but with a little help from my husband, I was able to set the time and date.Everything else is pretty much like a standard calculator.

Casio Hr-8Tm Printing Calculator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've owned several Casio calculators over the years and have been very pleased with all of them, this one included.I particularly like the size and the keypad has a nice feel (or touch) to it.I wanted something smaller, since I no longer have a home office. It's convenient to have the printing feature when I need it.The price was very reasonable. It has many "features", (although I will probably never use most of them) it's nice to know they are available. This product deserves a five star rating.
