Sharp QS2760H 2-Color Ribbon Printer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am a CPA who depends on calculators. We have several of this model in our office, and have used similar Sharp machines for years. We have found them reliable, easy to use, durable machines, and feel the price is reasonable for the quality of the machine. They do need replaced every 4 to 5 years, but by then we feel we have received our value from them, and have always replaced them with a Sharp machine identical or with very similar features to this one.

Sentry Industries CA2PK 2 Pack Calculator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased the CA2PK calculators thinking it would be a great deal!Wrong! It's a great deal if you only want the smaller handheld. The large, desktop model doesn't work efficiently. The keys keep sticking. When using it, I need to constantly watch what i input as the keys don't always register because another one is stuck.Spend the extra few dollars and get a better one.Good luck!

Peanuts SNOOPY - Woodstock CALCULATOR Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Paid alot for the item for it to be shipped in a plastic wrap with bubble wrap around it in the inside. The calculator looks like it's been sitting on store shelves for awhile because the the packaging was a bent up.But the calculator itself has a couple of marks. Will not ship back because that's more frustrating and I am bedridden. But will not buy from amazon again.I think I've learned a learn with this site one too many times. Thanks, but no thanks.

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My third grader does well with his times tables, but as any parent knows the goal is for times tables to be cemented in long term memeory. We have flash cards and even a rotating book, but he balked each time I brought them out. This calculator put the controls in his hands and he will voluntarly quiz himself each day.Fun and challenging and at his own pace, I am very happy with this product.

8 Digit Display Large Key Jumbo Calculator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The buttons on this calculator are soft/grippy rubber, which makes them difficult to work given their size (the area you have to press is directly in the center of the key and takes quite a push to make work. You definitely can't 10-key this thing without looking carefully to make sure each keypress is registered.Further, after only one day of use, the kids managed to drop it from about desk height onto the floor (which has been done with just about ever thing on my desk a time or two!) and the calculator stopped working immediately - the display shows only a garbled set of half-characters.So much for that $18...

So, if you're looking for a novelty gift for someone turning 40 or 50, this is the thing to get.If you want a large, durable, easy-to-10-key desk calculator, then keep looking.

BIG CALCULATOR Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Product is generally what it's made out to be, with one notable exception. It is not a dual power item (just battery power), which was an important criteria for me (if you don't care about solar power, there are lots of other large calculators).Button layout is also different from the picture, but generally functional.

Overall the calculator works, but you have to be careful to press the large buttons right in the center, or your entry may not be registered. Not a big deal, but it means that you have to watch the screen carefully as you push buttons to make sure nothing is missed.

One other "nice to have" would have been comma displays in large numbers (e.g., 1,000,000 for one million, whereas the calculator displays 1000000).

Other than that it works like you would expect a calculator to; and the price is reasonable.

Sharp EL-1801C Semi-Desktop 2-Color Printing Calculator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I use this for my home record keeping.I tend to be fast on data entry - 12,000 kpm- so this is slow on the print mode, but it keeps up with me...eventually.It took me awhile to get used to it clacking away while I was done - this was just the tape printing, I'd have my total in the digital part of the machine.I use it constantly - I have a huge Texas Instruments one at work that cost 5 times what this one cost and it's print speed is not much faster. The key positioning is awesome, I don't even need to look at it while I'm entering numbers.I highly recommend it.
