It was difficult to program compared to Royal.If you want to use the quantity key, it only shows one total for the entry, with no breakdown of the unit price.
You cannot go back and void an entry from the tape.If you ring in an item and them ring in more items and the customer changes their mind, you have to do it as a return as there is no void key.If you ring in items for more than 8 departments on a single sale, or too many total items the buffer gets full and makes you finish the sale, and then ring in the rest of the sale on another tape and then add them together to get what the customer owes.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.There is no way to reprogram the buffer, you are just stuck with their tiny buffer.The cash drawer has very cheap plastic for the coin drawer and the bill compartment.The change is hard to get out of the drawer due to a crappy design.The placement of the error correction key makes it very easy to bump and cancel your last sale entry.All in all this is a very inferior cash reister for the money.We paid $300 for this piece of crap.We had used Royal machines for over 15 years with basically no problems.We should have stayed with them.On a 1 to 5 star system, I would give this register less than 1.
